on one of their products they sent me to test I got something like dental floss or string it was supposed to help you with wind direction then I got some odorless powder it also was to help with wind direction.the magazine is pretty good to read.
the club is a rip off……..magaziine is ok but don’t count on getting free stuff……..do count on getting books and other crap you don’t want sent to you and then you either send them back or pay for them
Well, I fell for the add and signed up thinking I would be able to “field test” some fine products. You get offers for some run of the mill free stuff with the purchase of something else.
Yes, there may very well be a FEW sports writers that get free guns, free trips, expensive equipment etc. Only problem is, you wont be one of them and doubt you will ever meet anyone that does free-lance reporting on equipment.
I have gotten items possibly valued around 15-20 bucks but that was when I signed up to be a member. They know any qualifications I have and that I was a gunsmith, been schooled at Smith and Wesson, NRA instructor, etc.
You will get e-mails and sign-ups for free drawings and a news letter and occasionally another key chain and a hunting patch and decal.Just dont go into it thinking you’ll be a outdoors sports writer.
they did want me to become a life member for only $230.00
they said I was chosen becaue my name was drawn to become a life member.I would get a jacket, gun case and some other stuff.you get books the first is only $7.00 but the rest in the series are $20.00 or more.I get tired of sending the books back.dont count on any big items I got some hand warmers like you can get at wal mart for just a few pennies.the magazine is ok jim shockey has some funny stories in the back.
